AfidampFAB is a national trade association that brings together, represents, and assists “the Italian manufacturers of machinery, equipment and chemical products for the professional cleaning”, a sector with annual sales of over 1.200 million Euros (1.7 billion US dollars) and an export rate of 60%.

Founded as Afidamp in 1981 in Milan - Italy, on the initiative of the most important industrial and commercial companies operating in the market of professional cleaning, hygiene and sanitization of large spaces. In 2002, the industrial and commercial components of Afidamp each created their own independent association: AfidampFAB, association of manufacturers, and AfidampCOM, association of sales distributors/retailers.

Today, the majority of the Italian companies operating in this sector, regardless of their size or location in the Italian territory, are members of Afidamp.

AfidampFAB, in direct contact with various trade and government institutions has become the primary entity for the promotion and safeguard of the cleaning industry system as a whole. It operates in a network of national and international relations, contributing to the development of strategies and the implementation of initiatives regarding the sector.

Membership to AfidampFAB allows companies to benefit from several services including: informational updates, consulting and assistance through newsletters, trade publications, meetings and briefings that provide members with a constant source of updated information and material on crucial matters of importance.
